This view of the Z400's left side shows what classic lines and layout it has. Performance was surprisingly decent, with a nice twin-cylinder moan coming out of the pipe at high revs. It wore out a primary chain on me, used more fuel than I thought it should have on my regular long trips (50mpg), and demanded occasional re-supergluing of the perished carby diapragms. It was otherwise a bargain.
